Fish are living creatures, and to the extent that we have a measure of control over the environment in which they develop, we feel a concomitant obligation to use that control towards maximizing their welfare. After all, well fish are healthy fish, and healthy fish are stronger, grow faster, are less vulnerable to diseases and parasites, and can better handle environmental stresses. For this reason, we have a team member permanently on staff who specializes in fish welfare and is tasked with auditing every process that affects our fish to ensure that these processes are aligned with this value.
